Today’s Schütte winery has been in the family for many generations, but has had to change its name several times over the years. Although women were in charge at many stages, in each case they had to take the name of their husband when getting married, which then was automatically transferred to the name of the winery. Today, Agnes Schütte is the second generation to work under her own name, and lucky us, she also appreciates the qualities of the unfermented grapes, which she bottles into single-variety juices and sparkling juices.
